Seoul Declaration

The most recent international instrument for OSH is the Seoul Declaration on Safety and Health at Work, signed at the Safety and Health Summit on 29 June 2008.  Three paradigms are stated in the Seoul Declaration: OSH is a common responsibility taken on by every societal player, OSH requires a fundamental conceptual shift towards the creation of a culture enhancing workers’ well being, away from responsive activities, and OSH policies, strategies and programs must be shaped to fully reflect a commitment to preventive measures.
